The company employs over 1,500 people in Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Arkansas and Alabama. We are currently seeking a Construction Manager for our Arkansas operation based in Conway, AR. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence.

The position will report to the Area Vice President and will be responsible for:
 

• Managing multiple crews performing asphalt paving on DOT, county/city and private projects; Project  profitability, schedule, and quality;
• Leading the bidding process;
• Resource coordination: equipment, labor, supplies and subcontractors;
• Progress and final reporting on project performance vs. bid. 

Skills & Qualifications:
 

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar, required.
• 8+ years experience of hands on field experience including DOT base and pave operations, required.
• Prior P & L responsibility.
• Experience managing multiple crews.
• Power user of HardDollar or HCSS estimating software, required.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and Primavera or similar.
• A strong knowledge of DOT contracts, site design and building to bid.
• Some travel is required.
