Bryant Structures, Inc. This position will be primarily located in our Toano, Virginia headquarters office.

Project Engineer

• Reviews contracts, plans and other technical documents to become familiar with the scope and timing of project elements.
• Assists managers with construction and regulatory submittals, subcontracts, purchase orders, and project close out efforts.
• Provide engineering and technical support to management. Assist with calculations, submittals, project recordkeeping and quantity analysis.
• Develop quantity takeoff and cost estimates on upcoming bids and/or on change orders for ongoing projects.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate material deliveries to support field operations.
• Periodically assist management with project issues at the work sites.

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field. Two or more years of construction industry experience preferred. Detail oriented, self-starter with strong multi-tasking capability desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills a must. Ability to obtain certifications in traffic control, erosion control, and hydraulic cement concrete necessary.
