What Makes Us Unique?
Through an in-house team of dedicated Estimators, Project Managers and Superintendents, SMG provides quality and continuity on each project phase. Many in the SMG family have been long time employees, and our group of Architects and Engineers collectively bring over 100 years of experience to each project. Another part of what makes SMG unique is the level of time spent developing accurate and detailed shop drawings and cutting lists.
SMG houses one of the industries largest on-site, gated and fully insured storage facilities [60,000 square feet]. Having the flexibility to purchase materials months prior to installation gives our clients the much-needed advantage of time, and ensures on-time completion of projects.
SMG also has a 20,000 square foot on-site fabrication facility, staffed with a group of highly specialized professionals who couple old world craftsmanship with the efficiency of modern technologies. When schedules allow, SMG also provides overseas fabrication. Because of our long-standing relationships with fabricators around the world and our ability to prepare detailed shop drawings we are able to offer competitive pricing to our customers.
About SMG:
The people at SMG Stone Company pride themselves on delivering the highest grade of workmanship and services to General Contractors, Architects, Designers and Developers in the commercial, hospitality, retail, institutional, public, renovation and residential markets. On each project, SMG is bondable up to $10 million, which demonstrates our financial stability. Our dedication to quality, value engineering, schedule and safety over the past 20 years has resulted in finished projects in excess of $100 million to date. SMG has done all types of stone installation (veneer & paver) for the past 20 years.
